Marcloid & Woods Law Group “Other Things That Could Be Alphabetical” cassette (Traced Objects)

$8.00
“We didn’t set any rules really”

Marcloid & Woods Law Group brings together two long time genre crossing experimentalists. The project’s only goal is to to have strangely complementary sounds, focused on contrast.

Voice + bleeps, or walls + tinkering, or ambient beds + weird rhythms. At it’s core this is noise music, but stretching it’s arm out across a breadth of textures and influences.

Peter J. Woods is a noise musician from Nottingham-via-MIlwaukee. He is best known for his solo work that exists at the intersection of noise music, performance art, and expanded cinema. He has toured extensively for nearly two decades and plays in groups such as HOODWINKS, Phoned Nil Trio, xALLxFORxTHISx, and more. Woods ran the FTAM productions organization, a record label and concert promotion organization that hosted the Milwaukee Noise Fest, the Experimental Education Series, and the Noise Knowledge Consortium. Woods is also a scholar who researches and writes about learning, identity, and social politics within noise scenes.

Angel Marcloid is a musician and audio engineer. She has performed and released music under many different monikers and in many bands for the last twenty plus years. Angel’s dominant creative endeavor is her flagship solo project Fire-Toolz, in which she explores the sounds of industrial, jazz fusion, prog, noise, new age, ambient, avant-garde sound design & collage, house, early waves of emo & screamo, IDM, glitch, & more. In addition to her prolific musical output She has mastered and mixed countless records for artists across the musical spectrum at her Angel Hair Audio studio.
