- DNT is Back

When I first ended DNT at the end of 2015, I was in a transitional period of my life. My partner (now wife) and I had just moved away from Oakland, CA due to the high cost of living, and relocated to Columbus, OH. I was also by then a full-time community organizer focused on anti-prison/anti-policing work, within the Black Lives Matter movement. DNT was still going strong, but my life focus had shifted and it was proving difficult to hold down a day job, while organizing, and running a label & distro. I had just reached the 10 year anniversary and thought the decade mark was a nice milestone to end on. End it on my own terms rather than after getting burnt out. So I hung up the DNT hat and dedicated my energies to organizing.
The following five years, encompassing the first trump term, I organized and protested with all my energy, experiencing very intense moments of grief and joy that are too great for a short blog post. Long story short, by late 2020, I was burnt out (this was the year of both COVID and the “George Floyd” uprising) and my mental health not so great. With the encouragement of friends and family, I took a step back from organizing and shifted back to the music world.
But initially, my focus musically was just making solo music, for my mental health and to decompress. I started to revisit a solo project first started in 2006: Meadow Argus. By the following spring, 2021, I released my first tape of this new phase. I began to search for distribution. That’s really when the seed for relaunching DNT was planted. I immediately began to notice something: many of the stores and distros I grew up alongside of in the DNT years had ended their stores. Largely because of the worsening economy and just different world of the 2020s compared to the 00’s. Most of the underground scene these days has migrated to Bandcamp. Gone are websites and most of the blogger reviewers and message boards.
So I realized there is a great need for a distro like mine to return! Instead of having to buy tapes one at a time, tacking on $5 shipping per tape, you can browse DNT and buy from dozens of labels all at once, with one package and save on shipping. I am a lover of the underground DIY experimental music scene, and I hope it shows with my curated selection of music and dirt cheap prices.
If you’re already familiar with the DNT world, welcome back! Say hi! If you’re new to DNT, hello! You’ll find that I love things handcrafted, and like to throw in extra stuff with orders. 🙂 And if you’re wondering if and when the label will return with new releases…you’ll see…
Much love,
Tynan

- Celebrate DNT’s 20th anniversary with Sir Tad’s Generation Joint, out today!
Hey everyone!
Are you surprised to be getting an email from DNT Records in 2025?? Yeah, I ended the label in 2015, but Monday (August 4th) was the 20th anniversary of the founding of the label and distro, and we have a new release to celebrate! That’s right, I started Doris Nordic Tribute on my 17th birthday, still in high school. Ten years later, after 88 releases (11 LPs, 52 cassettes, five 7″s, nine cdrs, eight 3″ cdrs, three VHS tapes) I hung up my hat and retired the mailorder. A lot has happened since then, including years of anti-racist community organizing, a liver transplant, marriage… too much for one email.
But one thing I started putting a lot of time and energy into in the year after DNT was my solo music. Sir Tad was started in high school and Meadow Argus in 2006 a little after graduating, but both projects I messed around with off and on over the years until diving in deeper in recent years. (This is what I said ten years ago: “People who know me personally know I’ve been making music for years, but so slow to actually *release* anything because I’m so finnicky — so instead I’ve been accumulating shoeboxes full of recordings from over the years. I decided to finally put some of it out to the world, imperfections and all. This means the fidelity varies, and some recordings sound unfinished. Nevertheless, humility aside, I’m quite proud of my creations, and I hope you enjoy them too.“
Now to the new release. I figured, what better way to celebrate the 20th anniversary of DNT than by releasing a new tape. Does this mean the label is “back”? We’ll see! “Let me know in the comments down below” if you think that’s a good idea! Join
this mailing listto stay updated. Anyway, I present to you: Sir Tad’s Generation Joint:Sir Tad is back with his third album, Generation Joint, a 22-song double album of lofi dubby bubbly-keyboard 4 track tape haze psych pop, clocking in at 69 minutes. For the non-stoner, a “generation joint” is a joint rolled from the leftover roaches lying around. Smoking it can be a special occasion because it represents “generations” of smoke sessions and different strains, time spent with friends and family.
For this album, Sir Tad dug through twenty years of recordings: cutting up jam sessions, building upon old tape loops, or returning to old songs and finally landing on a finished version, he takes these musical “roaches” and rolls them together into a generation joint twenty years in the making. Gear-wise you can expect the usual array of instruments such as cheap keyboards/organs, tape players, tape loops, melodica, autoharp, mandolele, drum machines, all recorded to Tascam Portastudio 4-track cassette tape.
The music is woven with voice samples, sometimes found sound but mostly culled from Sir Tad’s personal family tapes, thus folding & flattening time so four generations are in conversation with each other, blurring past, present, and future. Generation Joint is also a fun, smiley, BRIGHT album, as reflected by the colorful album cover, a handpainted paper collage by Pearl Morgan. Physical tapes released by DNT Records in an edition of 54, pro-dubbed C70 cassettes on purple swirl shells & smokey case, full-color artwork.
Available here. Get in touch for wholesale rates or download codes if you run a blog/podcast/radio show/etc. or just want a free copy of this or any other Sir Tad/Meadow Argus release. There are also some bundle deals on there for multiple tapes.
My other solo project is Meadow Argus, which is more freeform than Sir Tad, organ/keyboard drone with tape loops/tape manipulation and four track experients. I’ve released over a dozen tapes on labels like Aural Canyon, Flophouse, Hooker Vision, a CDR on Chocolate Monk and compilation appearances on Histamine Tapes, The Jewel Garden and others. Give it a listen! Happy to give download codes too, just ask 🙂
I also still have copies of some older DNT titles. The website is being rebuilt and doesn’t have a store right now, so just respond to the email to order any of these. In stock:
Caboladies s/t LP (with Robert Beatty artwork) $10
Family Underground “Demon Parade” LP $10
Edibles “Other Minds Meet Inner Space” LP (Dewey from Eternal Tapestry/Plankton Wat $10
Uton “Kun Korallit Puhuvat Pilville” cassette $5
Ducktails/Mudboy “Summer of Saucers” split cassette $5
Eric Sanchez “Los Otros Ojos” cassette $5
Bobb Bruno “Clown’s Castle” cassette $3 (no cover)
Bobb Bruno “Black Gel” cassette $3 (no cover)
Alright, that’s a long email so I’ll wrap it up now. I love you all and all the support y’all’ve shown me over the years. Definitely reply if you even get this and say hi! Share DNT stories or whatever. Happy birthday DNT!
Much love,
Tynan

- Old News
NOTE FROM 2026: THIS PAGE IS AN ARCHIVE OF OLD DNT NEWS UPDATES
NEWS:
December 31, 2015Well. This will come as a shock to many, but after ten years and 88 releases, I am ending Doris Nordic Tribute Records (DNT) effective immediately. No doubt this seems spontaneous, but I actually made the decision quite awhile ago to end DNT after the decade mark. I stopped at 88 releases in honor of the year I was born. I wanted to end the label on my own terms, and while still in my prime. I ended the label just as I started it: limited edition releases of unknowns, with very laboriously handcrafted releases, each tape cover uniquely painted.
It’s hard to believe that I was but a teenage high schooler when I started DNT on my seventeenth birthday on August 4th, 2005. The fact that I’ve more or less been self employed all my adult life, supporting myself from DNT alone (of course living a very bare minimum frugal lifestylee), from something started as a shoebox distro blows my mind daily. I’ve gone through so many changes and lived such a crazy life in those ten years, DNT growing right alongside me. Hitchhiking from the socal desert out to LA and couch surfing just so I could go to noise shows at the Smell and Il Corral, always trying to seem older than the teenie bopper I was. Then moving to LA briefly but leaving when I was diagnosed with cancer. Somehow continuing the label — and actually one of my most active periods of DNT — while going through chemotherapy.
Then overcoming cancer and moving to San Francisco, trainhopping around the country in the summers, where I was as active as ever with DNT while doing college and getting politicized. Then getting deeply involved in prison abolition organizing (and the past year and a half the Black Lives Matter movement). I moved from La Quinta, CA to Olympia, WA, back to La Quinta, to Los Angeles, back to La Quinta, then San Francisco, Oakland, and finally this fall to Columbus, Ohio.So in many ways, my life is so different from when I started DNT, I felt ending it was the best way to free me to make something new. I leave DNT feeling as happy and inspired and in love with music as I ever have! I want to focus more on solo music, which was always on the back-burner as I focused on releasing other peoples’ music. I also have plans for a new label, but more on that will come later..
88 releases. 11 lps, 52 cassettes, 5 7″s, 9 cdrs, 8 3″ cdrs, 3 vhs tapes.
I want to thank every last one of you who’ve supported DNT Records over the years, whether you supported me from the start, or just heard about DNT last week. I am all up in my feels, as I hear the kids say, so I would love if y’all would send emails/letters/art/etc to me sharing any DNT stories/tidbits, or any words with me. I’d love to see some photos of DNT collections (especially a photo of DNT001 if you own a copy!) or other DNT artifacts you’ve saved. Say hello/goodbye. I love you!
Much love,
TynanOh, and the mailorder will remain open for the time-being until everything is sold out. The newest DNT tapes are basically all sold out already, so order yours soon! Same goes for the older DNT releases, and much of the distro. Reminder that I just lowered the prices of all tapes to $2.50, and LPs to $7. All orders from the past week are being boxed and shipping very soon. Stores and distros: Please get in touch, I’d love to sell the last of my goods to your shoppe.
——————————-12/25/15 – With the countdown to 2016 ticking, DNT is proud to announce its newest batch of tapes, celebrating a decade of DNT! Crazy, huh? Ten whole years. The official anniversary was August 4th, but between a vacation to Ireland and relocating our HQ from Oakland, CA to Columbus, OH (What’s good, Cbus?) it took us a little longer than planned for this monstrous batch — 12 tapes plus 6 genre-specific 60 minute archival samplers spanning DNT’s decade of existence.
I wanted to return to my roots, so I spent even more time handcrafting these tapes. All covers were hand painted by myself and Pearl Morgan with one of a kind artwork, duplicated 1:1 in real time. You’ll also notice that a large chunk of these tapes are solo projects of mine. People who know me personally know I’ve been making music for years, but so slow to actually release anything because I’m so finnicky — so instead I’ve been accumulating shoeboxes full of recordings from over the years. I decided to finally put some of it out to the world, imperfections and all. This means the fidelity varies, and some recordings sound unfinished. Nevertheless, humility aside, I’m quite proud of my creations, and I hope you enjoy them too. The entire batch is extremely limited, so don’t delay in ordering.
Also, prices in the mailorder, both the label and distro, have been drastically reduced to clear space — all new cassettes & 7″ s are now $2.50 (doubles and anything over 60 minutes are $4) and all new LPs are $7. Shipping is extra, and because of the reduced prices, DNT releases are no longer free shipping.

Tynan10/30/15 – Hey everyone, Lots of stuff happening! DNT has just relocated to Columbus Ohio! If you’re ever in the area and want to pick up stuff in person, hit me up. Prices have been lowered on pretty much the entire mailorder — some tapes as low as $2, and rarer items like the DNT metal plates have been lowed down to $100 from $250. Items below mostly aren’t listed on the site, so email your orders for those. Stores/distros: get in touch for really low rates on wholesale. The Caboladies LP, Family Underground LP, Edibles LP and Uton LP are all juuust about out of print.
Much love,
Tynan12/17/14 – After much delay, DNT releases its factually best tapes of 2014. There have been many reasons for the long wait, but the most recent being the ongoing Black-led rebellion in Ferguson and around the country. I’ve been very involved locally, and am so ecstatic at the high standard of solidarity the Bay Area is setting — In the past weeks the Black Out Collective and Black Lives Matter (among others) have shut down the BART, shut down OPD police headquarters and other actions — Oakland doesn’t fuck around!
Dare to struggle, Dare to win.
Black Lives Matter,
Tynan7/6/14 – Summer is well under way, eh? Some new DNT releases are coming out soon. In the mean time, we have finally fixed the major issues with the website and email. So http://www.dntrecords.com should work again as the url, and the email address is tynan [ATTT] dntrecords ((DOT)) com
2/22/14- We’ve been having some issues with the website, but it is back up and running at http://www.dntrecords.com. However, the email address is still not working properly, so until further notice, please use dntrecords[[ATT]]hotmail}com to contact us.
11/29/13 – Happy Winter!
Woah, where to begin? DNT is back in action after the longest hiatus to date. After taking a much needed break from the label and a move across the bay to Oakland, we have six new tapes for your listening pleasure (well, two are reissues) as well as a completely new website! A new website has been in the works for at least five years and now it’s here! Descriptions/photos of our most laborious batch yet can be found here, but here are the new titles:DNT067 – Digital Natives “Long Homesweetened Entry” cassette
DNT068 – DJ DJ Tanner “Home Entertainment” cassette
DNT066 – Uton “Kun Korallit Puhuvat Pilville” cassette
DNT064 – Bobb Bruno “Black Gel” cassette
DNT033 – Bobb Bruno “Clown’s Castle” cassette
DNT043 – Ducktails/Mudboy “Summer of Saucers” split cassette
A BIG thanks to Camille Bryant for doing all the artwork for the new site. Labels and other folks: Contact her to commission artwork. You might recognize her artwork from the Jovontaes tape from 2011 (DNT054). I also have to give a big thanks to Kyle Wade for coding the site. The new website is WAY more user-friendly, with a search function; you can sort by artist, label, format, etc. I’m trying to incorporate audio/visual samples as much as possible–if you made/make music videos for anything in my distro, please feel free to contact me and I’ll embed it in the site. I’ve also added a show/tour listings page.
I have permanetely lowered the prices on most items (most tapes are $4, lps $10 or less) and will begin offering discount codes at various times. A few specials running right now:First 10 orders get a free DNT release of their choice (*Uton the only exception)
First 50 orders which include an LP get a free DNT lp of their choice, (Uton excluded)
Please help spread the word on whatever social network sites you frequent (tumblr, facebook, twitter, message boards, etc.) and “envy” our releases on storenvy.
Also, unintentionally, I have some ebay listings ending today (11/29)
Stores/distros, get in touch for wholesale rates!
Much love & thanks for all the support over the years,
Tynan Krakoff

5/5/11 – Hello world!
I don’t know about where you live, but here in SF it is sunny and warm, and I couldn’t think of a better time to drop the new DNTs. Go over the the label area for more info. These are ready to be shipped, but the first shipment will occur next Thursday. This is due to a few minor issues with transportation, but has nothing to do with the releases themselves, they are completely done and ready to go out to the world. All distro orders will not go out until next Thursday as well
Expect a proper summertime batch in the coming months, and also a brand-new website! It’s looking absolutely great so far, we’re just putting the final touches on it.
-Tynan12/13/10 – In an attempt to wreak havoc on your “best of 2010” lists, DNT is dropping a new set of releases, 2 LPs and 4 tapes. We tried something different this time around and started selling the LPs to distros early, so you should be able to order this from your favorite distro right now, if that’s your thing. There are a few special sales going on right now.
Happy Winter Solstice!
-Tynan9/12/10 – Mailorder is open again, but please allow extra time for delivery as we are still catching up. If you are one of the people who ordered the 4-year anniversary vhs and have yet to receive it, please email us. There will be a new batch as well as hundreds of used items for sale soon.
5/16/10 – The Doris Nordic Tribute is alive and kicking! It’s a new decade and we wanted to get things started right..unfortunately that caused quite a long delay. I know many of you are anxious so I won’t say too much, but I do want to thank everyone for all the continual support. DNT would not be what it is today (what is it??) if it weren’t for people like you… Well, enjoy the new batch! Stores/distros, get in touch for wholesale rates!! It is almost summer. Bust out the jump-ropes and chalk..
Best,

1/19/10 – Happy new year! DNT is open again. If you made an order during the break, please wait a few weeks before emailing asking about it. There (thankfully) weren’t too many, so it won’t take long to catch up. Also, we no longer carry cds/cdrs, so please look elsewhere for those, and don’t email asking if we’ll distro them.
12/15/09 – Attention: DNT Mailorder is closed from 12/15/09- 1/15/10 for the holidaze. Please feel free to make orders during this time, but nothing will be mailed until after we re-open. Please allow extra time for delivery. All orders made before this date have either gone out already or are in queue to go out on 12/16. I will be unable to respond to emails until January. See ya next decade!
11/30/09 – Helloooooo,
Winter is quickly approaching and I can’t think of a more suiting batch than this one. Ättestupa’s “1867” 12″ blew me away the first time I heard it. Turn off all the lights and play it loud. The other new release is Sean McCann’s “One Morning I Waked Up Early” VHS tape. (Yep, that’s right, they still make those) This is the second VHS on DNT, with many more to follow. Those of you who have been dedicated DNT followers may remember the first vhs release, 2007’s “Musisica Moche” vhs (DNT004)
Those of you wanting an update on my personal life, I have mostly recovered from last month’s burglary (in which I lost my computer and other equipment). I’m moved to a safer, quieter, cheaper place and am loving it. Thanks for all the support. There is a special sale going on now through the end of the decade (check the website for the sale page) to help fund a few big DNT projects for next year.Well, enjoy the new batch! Stores/distros, get in touch for wholesale rates!!
One last note: We recently received backstock from a distro, and now have a few copies of some DNT gems back in stock. Please email first to reserve. We have:

10/20/09 – Hey, thought I should give an update since the last entry was so dreary.. I am now in a new place, which is safer, quieter, cheaper. I am mostly caught up in orders but still a little behind. Thanks for all the support. There will be a new DNT batch very soon..
9/14/09 – My apartment was burglarized yesterday (someone climbed in through the window next to the fire escape while I was in the shower) and I had my computer, videocamera, cash, and some other miscellaneous junk stolen. So now my ONLY computer access is at the library. I lost all DNT files (which included orders I have yet to fill) so please be patient as I rebuild my files from the paypal/hotmail sites. Some EA interview brainstorming files were lost too.. I’ll be selling a bunch of my tapes/records to help recover my loss. I’ll have to compile a list and type it out, so hopefully by the end of this week I’ll have that on the site. Thanks for your support. G-d bless.
There’s a good chance I’ll be homeless soon, so expect a delay in receiving packages. Also, if anyone in SF is in need of a roommate come the first, email me!
-Tynan6/6/09 – The debut LP by Plankton Wat, “Dawn of the Golden Eternity” is out now! View the label catalog page for details/photo. Most of the DNT staff is on vacation now so mailorder is partially closed, but paypal orders will still be filled. Visit the summer link at the top of the website. Drink lots of lemonade, it’s summer!
-Tad4/1/09 – Hello again, world! DNT has successfully left the dusty desert and relocated to the beautiful San Francisco. It is half a year delayed, but we are proud to announce the DNT Three Year Anniversary Compilation “Psyched Punch” double cassette, Sean Mccann’s debut full length cassette, “Phylum Sighs” C57 and a split LP between Steve Gunn & Shawn McMillon. Visit the website for paypal buttons and more info.
Also, there is a new publication out there called Electric Annihilation (http://www.electricannihilation.tk) featuring interviews from Thurston Moore, John Olson, Emeralds, Wet Hair, Sun Araw and more. Visit the website for more details/photos.

12/31/08 –

11/18/08 – Four new cassettes are out now. This is the last update before DNT makes the move to San Francisco. Trading in the burning sands for rolling fog, or something similar. The DNT 3-year anniversary 2XC60 is coming out soon, as well as my favorite release to date: Sean Mccann “Phylum Sigh” C57. Stay rad.
-Tynan10/6/08 – This new batch has been highly anticipated and is one of my favorites. As most of you know by now, I was diagnosed with lymphoma in January and started treatment shortly after that. I’ve now been in remission for almost two months and am completely done with treatment! Anyway, paypal buttons are on the website. A few of the other DNT releases still in print are almost out of print, so if you haven’t picked them up yet now would be the time!
8/13/08- Ladies, gentlemen, dude, whatever. Sorry it’s been so long without an update. I get lazy and forget to post these things. Anyway, no new releases yet, but the Black Pus/Foot Village split 12″ is at the pressing plant right now, so expect that soon. Family Underground “Helium Rug” 12″ is gone but plenty of stores/distros still have copies. Email me if you need help locating a copy. We’re in our fourth year now, and there’s no sign of things slowing down. Light some candles.
-Tynan5/05/08- Say it loud: DNT is back, and I’m proud! After a five month hiatus DNT is now officially back in business, with five new releases. Including the much-anticipated Family Underground “Helium Rug” 1-sided LP and Mudboy “Mudmux Vol.1″ 7”. I have added a ton of records to the ‘used’ section, as well as the distro, which is bigger than ever. Also: Postage is going up next week, so be sure to get your orders in ASAP. Paypal buttons are on the ‘label catalog’ page of the website, get in touch for wholesale rates. Summer is almost here!!
2/10/08- Wow, it’s a new year again-and already in the second month. Anyway, I’ve been (mainly) enjoying my break. I miss you guys though! It’s not all rest, I’m hard at work on the re-opening- or re-birth as I like to call it. Expect a handful of awesome tapes and vinyl…stuff you’ve been waiting for for awhile, plus some surprises!! BUT, I also have some bad news. I was recently diagnosed with lymphoma, a type of cancer dealing with the lymph nodes. It’s treatable, and I’m young and otherwise healthy, so I hope to recover from the chemotherapy as quickly as possible and be back on my feet. I want to be close to my family for this (plus I’ll be to weak/sick to work and pay bills) so I have moved from Los Angeles. Please note my new address:
Tynan Krakoff/DNT Records
45-480 Desert Fox Drive
La Quinta, CA 92253
USA11/22/07- Gobble Gobble! Just about a week left before DNT closes for the season, so get yer orders in quick unless you want to wait 4 months!! Also, HUNDREDS of records from my personal stash are going on ebay in about a week. My username is dntrecords (I’ll send out a reminder)
7/30/07- I’m back! There are a gazillion stories I could tell about the month long Night Wounds tour, but instead I’ll just mention some highlights..4th of July was in Chicago, and fireworks were going off everywhere all day long. We accidently lit a firecracker off by a gang member, who said he was “coming back for us” so we ran away and went swimming at a segregated pool. Then later that night a really cool band with members of Coughs played..forget the name. A week later was my first time to NYC, and it ruled! I did an interview on Make The Product on WNYU and you can hear it here: WNYU Archives (scroll down to Wednesday July 18th, Make the Product). It was a blast, Jacqueline is really sweet. The next day I got to finally meet Lucas Crane aka Non-Horse and Jeremy Earl, of Fuck It Tapes/Shepherds/Meneguar fame. I had to sleep in the van so I missed out on a Night Wounds/Blues Control/Jeremy Earl late-night jam in the Silent Barn basement. But it was recorded! Firday the 13th was at the Cake Shop and there was an amazing Blues Control/Mouthus/Awesome Color collab set.
After that we teamed up with Pittsburgh psych jam band Midnite Snake and played 4-5 shows with them. They’re really hairy and old, but I love them! Nicest guys with ZZ Top beards I know. The south ruled but was hottttt. Night Wounds were supposed to play on a pedestrian bridge in Austin, TX, but Finally Punk and Total Abuse cancelled. Still had a good time though. A few days later we went to Juarez, Mexico. The Phoenix show was everything I hoped it would be. Got to hang out with James Fella a little bit. Nicest dude ever! Soft Shoulder killed it, then we drove to my mom’s house and got the AC treatment.
Met Don Bolles of Germs fame at the LA show, and got invited to his private birthday party on August 4th!! (We have the same birthday!!). The rest of the shows after that were with Twin Crystals, my new favorite Vancouver band behind Shearing Pinx. Jesse reminds me of McFly Senior of Back to the Future fame. DAM House in Davis, CA treated us to pizza from every pizza joint in the city. Met DJ Rick finally.
There are a million other stories to tell..mainly of Night Wounds beating the shit out of me in the van (I wasn’t called by my real name for a week and a half).. but I think the NW tour dvd will tell the story better than I can. If any bands need a roadie/merch guy, I’m down. So much fun! I met so many awesome people! Stay in touch everyone! Anyway, the Gay Beast LP and Shepherds 7″ are both out now and selling fast. I’m closing the mailorder in a week or two while I move to my new apartment in LA, so PLEASE make lots of orders before then so I have less records to move and more food/rent money!
-Tynan6/24/07- The DNT T-shirts are finally in! There are only 30, so get one soon! Also, DNT Mailorder is officially closed until August. I am on going tour with Night Wounds (myspace.com/nightwounds) Come to a show if you can, I’ll have a table set up with tons of records. You can still order from the label page, although it won’t ship until August, it will
help me pay for food and gas on tour!! It’s summer time, so go jump in a river and drink koo-aid

6/15/07- I just got back from a three week vacation on a road trip with my brother and friend Chris. Went to San Francisco, Portland, Vancouver, Detroit, Denver, etc. loads of fun! I cam home to about a dozen packages and have updated the website. MAJOR updates. tons of new records+restocks. Make any orders soon, because I’ll be leaving on June 26th to go to Portland to start the Night Wounds summer tour, I’ll be taking DNT on the road, and will have a table selling records at all of the shows! So mailorder will be closed during that time..
4/25/07- I’m making the move to Los Angeles proper this summer, and I have to clear A LOT of space to fit into the new apartment.

^^^NO LONGER GOING ON!please help me out by re-posting this, and letting your friends know about what I’m selling. buddy up with a friend and combine orders, save money!!
Not only am I moving and will have to pay more rent, but also I have three 7″s and 3 LPs coming out this summer, so my funds will start to deplete.
all orders will receive freebies as well!! (posters, cds, etc..)
email dntrecords[at]hotmail[dot]com with all orders. (except if you use the paypal button)
4/0507- Since the last update, there have been two new 7″s. One by Warmth/Yellow Swans, with beautiful artwork by Jelle Crama. And the other 7″ by Gang Wizard. It’s April now, which means Spring, and it’s just great!! Lots of bright, upbeat spring-into-summer releases coming right down your alley.
-Tynan3/09/07- It’s nap time now, because I’m fucking tired. Seven new releases are out now. Check ’em out on the ‘Label Catalog’ page. A few of those, mainly the VHS release, have been in the works for a long time, so I’m quite proud to finally have them done. And believe it or not, there are still tons of releases coming (relatively) soon. The top ones are:
Shepherds 7″
Gang Wizard 7″
Warmth/Yellow Swans 7″
Family Underground 1-sided LP2/15/07- No new is good news? Is that true? Perahps.. I saw a Pocahaunted/Robedoor collaboration set last night, and it was beautiful. That’s the only real news. Many many releases are coming out very soon, so keep your finger for the F5 button!
-Tynan12/30/06- Well kids, 2006 is almost over. This has definetly been a big year for DNT. In May I had the first release for DNT-as-a-label, the limited first compilation. Since then, I’ve released a 7″, two cassettes, a second compilation cdr, and a double cdr. 2007 is going to be an even bigger year. The first 3″ in the 3″ Split Series is out now, and within the next month a cdr by Manhut (members of The Pope and Books on Tape) will be released, as well as a Quintana Roo/Quilts split tape (problems with the tape duplicator). Also a Gang Wizard 7″ and Yellow Swans/Warmth split 7″ as soon as I get the return from the pressing plant. Happy New Year!!
12/03/06- Almost two months without an update. Things have been a little slow lately, but now bands have forked over their material, and a TON of releases should be coming out before the year’s end. I’m moving back to So.Cal in two weeks, so PLEASE make some large orders so I have less to move. And direct any mail to the new address:

La Quinta, CA 9225310/05/06- Where did September go?!?!?!? You better check the label catalog page because the new compilation is now available! And hold on to your hats, because as Delay NT progresses, more and more releases will be coming out. When you see all the releases coming out this month and next, just remember: it’s like June…I promise I’ll start getting in more fights with the bands so they’ll give me their material quicker. Also: I’m going to focus more on the label now and less on the distro, so a lot of items won’t be reordered once they sell out, so you better grab what you can, when you can, however you can.. AS LONG AS YOU PAY FOR IT BUCKO!!!
