I first stumbled upon Zbyszko Cracker’s music world when I heard his Shovlin’ release on Grandmother’s House Records (grandmothershouse.bandcamp.com/album/shovlin). Instantly hooked, I reached out and he generously agreed to a release on Jan. ’95.
Presented here over four tracks is his “failed attempt to reach Pelican Island.” This beautiful collection of tunes mixes field recordings of his canoe trip with “Angels of Darkness, Demons of Light”-era Earth-sounding guitars. Time to get out on the canoe for some meditation.
