Description
The Gulf Coast of Florida is peppered with tall, bushy packs of mangroves, digging deep into the salty brine. Stalks thick with time probe the warm jelly waters of The Gulf living a life of gentle repose. These exposed veins of the land absorb the saline seawater extracting the desired fluid and excreting what remains. This is a collection of mangrove’d audio that started as a brackish mixture of sounds and ideas, distilled into something more palatable and presented as a metamorphosis. A byproduct of long days exploring and experimenting with borrowed objects and equipment on loan, each fragment is focused and refracted using different lenses but with the same source.
