Although Grant and Rachel Evans of Quiet Evenings have been busy recording a variety of other projects with a few duo shows in between, the pair haven’t released a QE album since “Glass Bridge” (2022). Dense drone and vocal textures alongside ebbing cello from Rachel hang like fog around Grant’s tape-saturated synths. A rare glimpse into their shared visions of cold-weather ambience.
