Not only has Jeramy been instrumental in opening doors for and taking people down the proverbial rabbit hole that is their evolving musical tastes via his hand in operating and curating selection at Low Yo Yo Stuff Records in downtown Athens, but Alec was someone we at Hooker Vision crossed paths with many times be it at shows, via his own performance bookings, or around the town’s university-centered music and art scene. Alec graciously hosted us and other Hooker Vision artists for WUOG the local college radio station’s “Live in the Lobby” series too. It was a core way to get to hear and know others making music in town when we were new. Go Bar was also one of the first venues we played at ourselves when we moved to the Athens area in 2012. It’s an honor to be entrusted with this rare and fleeting live music recording documenting 2015 Athens experimentalism at one of the staple venues of the town’s loose outsider music collective.
